It's not without flaws, but I'd say it's pretty hard not to be hooked after watching the first dozen of episodes.
Of course like many other stories, the expectations are so big that no matter what they do I think in the end the conclusion will disappoint. You know, there's nothing beyond the ninth circle, nothing behind the last door, and that kind of stuff. The mystery itself is always much more rewarding than its answer.
we re just in a middle of the second season. we didnt have tv so we re not very au courant with it (Mdk got a dvd) anyways 2 episodes are done so far this evening, we re having a little break. still 3 before us!

Just not my cup of tea. My favorite tv show of recent years has without a doubt been The Wire.
